Your next steps, and how to contact us

This page should redirect to our new Family History webpage within a few seconds. If it does not do so automatically, please follow this link for up to date information.

Many family and local historians already find our collections rich resources for their research, particularly as a supplement to the records held in the regional County Record offices. The Special Collections staff are very happy to help and advise with this work, or to direct enquirers to other archives. Records can be ordered and viewed in the search room at Palace Green Library, located at the heart of Durham city. Indexes are available in the search room and online through our catalogues.
